Drive Focus is not compatible with any phones because the screen size is too small.
Drive Focus is compatible with these devices: iPads, Android tablets, Amazon Fire Tablets, MacBooks with M1 chips, Chromebooks, Windows 11, and Apple Vision Pro. If you don’t have access to one of these devices and cost is a consideration, we recommend Amazon Fire Tablets, Android tablets, and Google Chromebooks.
In addition to the volume control on your tablet, there are two other things that affect the sound.
1. When taking a Drive, you can adjust roadway and background sound volume using the slider bar.
2. You can also turn on and off the roadway sounds and the acknowledgement chimes and beeps in the Drive Focus app settings
Use the biggest screen you can. Here’s why:
When you use Drive Focus, you are looking at the road from the perspective of a driver. If you are using a small screen, it will be difficult to pick out things that are far away from the driver, like an upcoming traffic light or sign.
We do not recommend screens smaller than 10 inches or 25.4cm.
Drive Focus currently runs on more than 5000 Android and Chromebook devices. The easiest way to see if your device is compatible is to follow these steps:
Generally, Drive Focus will work if your Android device is updated to Android 11 or newer.
Please remember, even though a device will work, you may not be able to see critical items if the screen is too small. In general, we recommend a screen size that is 10 inches (25.4 cm) or larger.
There are typically three reasons that the wheel spins instead of downloading the drive and that is internet speed, storage and memory.
1. Internet speed is too slow. This can happen even if you have fast internet if there are multiple devices using WiFi simultaneously. A way to test your WiFi speed is to open up Speedtest.net on your Android device. You need at least 3Mbps for download speed.

Drive Focus requires 5.14GB of storage to operate. If you don’t have that much storage you can clear out unused apps. Videos and pictures tend to take up a lot of storage.

Many of our users report that the external keyboards on their iPads are incompatible with Drive Focus. If Drive Focus has problems registering your screen taps, disconnect the keyboard.
If you are having difficulty downloading the drives it is typically for one of two reasons.

2. The storage available on the iPad is too small to download the drives. For the best results, we recommend 1 GB of storage. Not sure if you have enough storage, follow these steps:
If your transaction at the Apple AppStore is “pending”, it means that the Fee has not been charged to your account. Apple support says the transaction can take 1-3 days. Steps you can take:
As of April 1, 2024, Amazon has stopped supporting Android apps for Windows 11. We are actively working on finding a solution.
If you download Drive Focus to Windows 11 prior to April 1, 2024 you will be able to use the Drive Focus until March 2025.
8th Generation and Newer
Amazon recommends trying three different solutions and testing the app after each or until one solves the download issue.
Potential solutions:
1. Restart Your Fire Tablet
2. Clear App Cache and Data on Your Fire Tablet
3. Uninstall and reinstall Drive Focus
You can create an unlimited number of users with the low price of a single Drive Focus app. Things to keep in mind:
